Continuous Tubular Dryer

Fast, even drying for a wide range of materials, including organic, inorganic, temperature-sensitive, fragile, and particles of both uniform and varying sizes. Because the material is never more than a few inches from a heated surface and is exposed to ambient airflow, drying occurs quickly and efficiently.

Common applications include polymerization, Nylon, PET, multi-vitamin drying and more.

Tubular Drying

PK’s Continuous Tubular Dryer features flighted tubes that maximize product contact with heated surfaces while ensuring smooth material movement throughout the vessel. Available in 16- and 26-tube configurations with lengths of 12 and 16 ft, it supports high-throughput operations from 1,000 to 20,000 lbs/hr and handles bulk densities up to 50 lb/ft³. Constructed with 316L stainless steel and ASME code-rated for safety, the system operates at temperatures up to 300°F, providing reliable drying for delicate or heat-sensitive materials. Its design ensures efficient, uniform exposure to heat and airflow, making it ideal for applications such as polymerization, Nylon and PET processing, multi-vitamin drying, and other industrial powders where consistent product quality is essential.
