Zig-Zag® Continuous Blender

The Zig-Zag blender uses a rotating, eccentric drum and continuous recycling to create uniform blends of liquid-solids and solid-solids. Most blends are completed in under two minutes, with the ability to mix a wide range of powders depending on the inlet chute size. In liquid-solid applications, two liquids can be added at once for efficient integration.

Common applications include pigment mixing, starch hydration, cement and more.

Tumble Blending

The Zig-Zag Blender provides fast, uniform mixing of solid-solid and liquid-solid powders in under two minutes. With throughput from 2,200 to 275,000 lbs/hr, bulk densities of 62–85 lb/ft³, and scalable batch testing, it efficiently handles pigments, starches, cement, and more. Continuous recycling, an eccentric rotating drum, and dual-liquid integration ensure consistent, high-quality blends for R&D, pilot, and full-scale production.
